Chris Hausel joined Mueller Prost in 2017 in the firm’s R&D Tax Credit department. As an engineer, Chris works with companies of all types to help them take advantage of their well-earned research and experimentation tax credits. Chris is positioned to help clients identify qualified research activities and providing support for the claim. Chris is also a member of Mueller Prost’s Manufacturing and Distribution committee and also provides engineering assistance on tax projects using engineering skills and principles along with knowledge gained in the tax industry.
Chris obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Stony Brook University in New York while also playing for the Men’s Division I Ice Hockey team. Chris has a very broad career background that includes designing solid oxide fuel cells, CNC machining, mechanical testing lab, and structural steel design.
