As communicated in our previous emails, Health and Human Services (HHS) stated that Skilled Nursing Providers should now start to see funds distributed from the HHS. These funds are intended to support increased testing, staffing, and personal protective equipment (PPE) needs.
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), has now announced that assisted living providers, even those who are private pay only, may now apply for Provider Relief Fund distributions. The assisted living providers should apply for ‘Phase 2’ funding, and eligible facilities will receive 2% of their annual revenue from patient care.
Deadline to Apply: September 13, 2020
In order to start the application a Tax Identification Number (TIN) is required for validation. Upon validation, which could be post the September 13th deadline, the remainder of the application will need to be completed.
